The 2017 edition of the Smart India Hackathon is a unique initiative to find innovative and disruptive digital solutions to the problems our nation faces. This competition lasted 36 hours straight from April 1 to April 2 of last year. 9544 students majoring in technology, 598 problem statements, 29 ministries of the central government, 26 Nodal Centers, and funding of Rs. 3 Lakh each team for 100 qualified teams.
